That's a mint right there. Is it a safe queen?
Here are my 2.5 inch 66's. A no dash, a dash 1, and a dash 2.
I just recently picked up a 66 no dash, P&R, 4 inch, for $850 at a LGS. I just "had to have it." It is exactly like the model of the first pistol I ever owned when I was a young police officer. I traded it in on a semi-auto and always wished I hadn't, but at the time, I had kids and collecting guns wasn't an option. Since purchasing it, I have been chomping at the bit to take it to the range.
The same LGS owner also has a 66-1 snubby that I have been considering purchasing, but after reading all of these posts, I am going to call him and pick it up. Thanks for swaying my decision. He is asking $850 for it, but told me he would sell it to me for $800. Does that sound like a fair price? It is pinned, but not recessed.
Paul I haven't bought a short barreled 66-1 in a while but I'll tell you a good story about buying them back in the day.
When the police changed over from revolvers to autos in the 80's you could go to Kiesler Police Supply in Jeffersonville Indiana and buy your pick for $250 apiece.
Mostly 4 inch guns but the occasional 2 1/2 inch could be had.
AND if you knew the owner, some where NIB...
66-1

The holster is from Ebay and the gun don't get carried around in it!

I picked up a -2 2-1/2 inch a few months ago, love the way it shoots, and want to carry it. May I ask which holster you find comfortable?I picked up a 66 no dash 2" 1/2 about 5 years ago. It quickly because my daily carry piece. It's the most comfortable handgun I've ever carried.
