My first N-frame was a 6" 29-2 I bought new in 1981, at the time the going price was $420 which I believe was a hundred or so over retail but if you wanted to dance...............

It was used hard in my younger days, it's been overhauled at the factory three times and refinished twice, all for no charge.

Then it went to Andy Cannon for his deluxe action and accuracy package which was I believe $250 at the time. The stocks are Guy Hogues and the rear sight a Millett.

It's pretty tired these days with a little endshake so I rarely shoot it and when I do it's with super light loads.

Well, I guess I was late to the party. I bought a model 13 K frame 357 when dirty Harry came out. Could not afford a N frame

Fast forward I have a renewed interest in firearms, especially N frames. I have bought 18 of them over the last year from 1956 to 1980 and couldn't be happier. All in presentation case like new. Yes I paid to much, but the price isn't going down.

Yup, I also remember when you could buy N-frames for $250-300 BNIB.
These days that might get you a set of nice factory target stocks.
