I think they are a great. Mine is very accurate and I love the grips on it with the palm swell. Decent trigger out of the box also. Fit and finish is great. Its a great shooter for what it is. Not quite a performance center firearms but close IMHO. I am sure many 1911 purists don't care for it but I enjoy mine. Just my 2 cents.

I had one when they first came out. I liked it a lot and shot it in matches, it was accurate.

I had to send it in for repair for 2-issues. I was experiencing intermittent, light primer strikes with the first round from the mag., which I thought might have been caused by the firing pin safety.
Also, both of the Wilson mags started causing a malfunction where the slide would lock open when empty on the take down notch and not the slide stop notch.

S&W Customer Service had it repaired and back to me in short order. It had no issues after that.

I like everything about it, a lot! I have a Kimber Stainless Target II in 9 mm and love it, my favorite 1911 pistol. I really like the grips on your pistol also.

Fantastic, sub 3 pound trigger from the box.
I need to shoot it.
Cheers

Everything about that pistol looks great...except the rear sight... can't stand a Bomar or Bomarish rear sight that does not have a proper low mount... that thing looks like it's just hanging out on top...

I will expound on what I like about the grips. First, I like the stippling or however you choose to describe the surface, and secondly I like that they are flat cut bottom and cover the MSH pin and I think they would accept a magwell and look quite nice. Those adjustable rear sights are very similar to the adjustable rear target sight on my Kimber. I like the two tone look and the checkered front strap. Like I said, a lot there to like!

I went back and looked, the rear sight is exactly like the one on my Kimber, only with mine sighted in the rear sight isn't adjusted nearly as high as the one you show so it isn't as noticeable.

I have owned both versions (adj rear sight / fixed rear sight) and they are fantastic shooters. I put S&A magwells on both as well as VZ grips and shot thousands of rounds through them for USPSA / IDPA. I never had an issue that wasn't my fault. Accurate, solid guns. I would buy another in a heartbeat.
