Ran the heck out of My M&P's today.

I really like My new M&P40c . .. LOVE the 1911 style thumb safety . . . I think I like it better than my SHIELD

It looks like a great day at the range! I, also, have a M&P40C and it is a great pistol. I can see another M&P in my future and it is also a .40S&W. Probably, just a full-size but ....... who knows!

M&P day at the range

I've owned Smith & Wesson M&P's since 1974. Carried a Model 10 M&P .38 K-frame revolver for over twenty years as a NYC police officer. I have since had it built up with a 6" bull barrel for PPC. Now I also shoot an M&P 9MM Pro series CORE and I carry an M&P 9MM compact. You can't argue with perfection.

I'm so used to hearing guys complain about the thumb safety, it's refreshing to hear of someone who likes it. I like mine too, but wouldn't lose any sleep if it didn't have it.

I think my .40C is my favorite. Love the thumb safety. Well a very close 2nd to my CS45. Shoot Straight and be Safe.

Great pics! That's a nice collection you have there. My wife has been happy with her fullsize M&P 9, and I really like my Shield 9.
Nothing quite like shooting steel.

I love my M&P's. I have full size .40 and .45, a Shield .40, and have a .40C on the way. They are accurate, reliable, and they point naturally, much like my 1911's(one of which is an S&W). I'm also a stock holder I guess because I also have a 617-6, 60 Pro, VComp 629, M&P15OR, 15-22, and a TC Vantage in .308.

If U carried a Mod 10 on the NYPD U retired a long time ago, I carried one too, bought it at Jovino's.

the rest is recoil absorbing rubber.
