S&W RECON Set

Last week I purchased a S&W 45 RECON (603 produced) to complete the S&W RECON set. Very pleased to have the set complete! Pics of the 45RECON, 40RECON, 9RECON and one with all three together!

I’m glad you got the RECON’s. Yep 603 total 45 RECON’s made, but the letter I got, (and was shared here,) confirms only 419 total 9 RECON’s made.

I’m sure there were even fewer 40 RECON’s made and for me the hardest RECON to find. (But I’m cheap.) The letter I’m waiting for will finally confirm the total number. Of course I will share.

I too have all three . One of my buddy's here sold me a 9Recon , nib , that came with the knife serialised to the gun . He also sold me my 40Recon , which is indeed a hard one to find . My 45Recon is the parkerized (?) , but I was just notified that a SS 45Recon is available . Man , these PC guns are pure addictive ! I also have a Shorty40 and 45 , all I'm missing is a Shorty9 and I'll be a happy camper . Many thanks to me buddy that feeds my addiction , or should I call him my enabler ?

I think I would pray for him. Obviously, he has gotten old and senile if he is selling those nice PC pistols or he got caught by the LAW (Loud Agitated Woman) for having bought just one too many.

My wife and I have a mutual agreement.....she doesn’t ask about my S&W pistols and I don’t ask about her shoes!

Pretty good agreement I think!

For me the 45 RECON was the more difficult to find! I also have all 3 of the Shorty’s (Shorty9, Shorty40 & Shorty45). Agreed that the S&W PC’s are addictive!

I love to see S&W Recon guns. The fitted bushing and match grade barrels make the compacts as accurate as a full size gun.
