Funny, I have the same question and ran across this thread by a search. Looking forward to any experienced replies.
I carry my 3913 daily in a Sof-Tuck, very comfortable.
Wrapped the pistol in a plastic bag, put it in the holster over night and if fits perfectly. Very easy to rehoster. The style for a double stack like an M&P 9c take more breaking in but also work well.

Is the black clip very noticeable when you wear the Sof-Tuck hoslter? It looks like it would be.

Actually not at all visible.
The clip goes over your pants behind your belt. The only part that shows is the tiny "J" portion and it hooks onto the bottom of your belt to keep the holster in place when you draw. Wear a black belt an no one will see it.
It tucks very well but I often just leave my shirt out. It's very comfortable up against your skin.

That Pocket Tuk looks interesting, for those who could pocket carry, as well as IWB carry. Remove the clip and you basically have a suade version of the Nemesis... Install the clip for (supposedly) comfortable IWB carry. Basically two holsters for the price of one.
The OWB belt holster I ordered from Desantis a few weeks back (for the Shield) just shipped. I will have it in my hands on Thursday
The mini scabbard? If so please let us know how you like it. I am thinking about getting one myself.
I ordered the thumb break scabbard.
I wanted a sweatshield, and the thumb strap acts in that reguard. The mini scabbard DOES have a sweat shield - but it kinda just sticks up and doesn't curve outward, like the thumb strap would. I didn't think a big piece of stiff leather would feel too comfortable, possibly sticking me in the side.
I previously used a few Galco FLETCH holsters, and a Bianchi 7L. So, I like the thumb strap.
Well, I carried a Glock 26 in one for years, and then a walther p99 compact in one for three years. The short grip of the subcompacts makes it very easy.
I never really carried IWB until I started carrying a beretta 92... Had no choice on that one, being such a big gun.
I expect it will work fine.
I would have gone with a Galco FLETCH again, but they don't make one for The Shield. I know someone at Galco, and I gave him a call. No plans to make one for the Shield either.

Desantis Holster?
I see the holster you linked to isn't specifically made for the S&W Shield. Does this one fit like a glove or would you wait for one that is specifically made for the Shield? I checked the Optics Planet website and they didn't have one for the Shield. I liked that Optics Planet website. Can almost get 2 holsters from there for just a little more than ordering directly from the Desantis website and paying shipping.

I'm going to give the soft-tuck a try for the Shield. Just placed my order from Optics Planet. I will post a review once I get the holster.

I got my Desantis thumb break holster in today:
And, this is the WRB holster I have been using for in the pocket carry. I actually got a new WRB holster for my Shield. But, the Kahr PM9 one I had works better. I popped out 2 stitches for the trigger guard, and the Shield fits great in the Kahr version of the holster.
If you get the Shield version, the holster tends to come out with the gun.

Just for the heck of it, I put my Shield in a DeSantis Pro Stealth that I have for my S&W Model 60 and it fits perfectly. Stays snug and it's comfortable. It obviously doesn't have the mag pouch for the revolver version.

I almost ordered a soft tuck from Midway but held back because the gun seems to ride so high. My main concern is concealability and control of the gun at all times. Currently carry a pre-mod 38 in an el cheapo nylon in cross draw IWB position. The butt just clears my waistband. Polo shirt covers it nicely. Anything riding high stands out cause I'm very thin. Any ideas?
