S&w shield plus performance center with crimson trace

Ordering a shield plus with the crimson trace red dot. Curious if this red dot is any good or do I need to look for a better option? Just wondering if anyone with experience with it has any opinions on if it's decent or not.

Best bet is to do a google search for reviews of that RD and same on You Tube.
I have for about 16 months have been running a Ameriglo Haven RD on my 4" Walther PDP Compact it doesn't have shake-a-wake and is on constantly has a 3.5MOA dot and I am very very pleased with it thus far and Ameriglo is a well regarded company with a well respected reputation so I am hoping the sight will be reliable.
It has at least 800 rounds on it and hasn't had any issues at all. To see how long a battery would last I put in a Duracell wrote the date down left it on at a mid level brightness setting and checked it 3-4 times a week and found it finally died at the 14 month 13-16 day mark.

So I figure if you change the battery every 8-10 months it should be good.

I watched a Youtuber literally beat the living hell out of it including pounding nails with it and it held up great and didn't fail so I gave it a try before I removed it to switch out the guns factory NTS for XS F8 NTS. I have about 200-225 rounds on the Zulicy Otter Pro and its worked perfectly. Am going to put at least 500 more rounds on it and see what I think of it.

I am not 100% sold on putting a MRD on my EDC but I can not deny I shoot the best HG groups of my life with any HG wearing a red dot.
