S&W Target Stocks w/o washer on back

I searched, but couldn't find the answer. When did S&W drop the washer on the back side of the target stocks? I want to get a correct set for my 29-5. Thank you!

Iirc my 29-5 classic came with the Rubber fg style with factory metal medallions.
Iirc the metal washers were discontinued sometime late 80's early 90's ish?

Btw there was a good post a while back detailing the SW stocks evolution.

Circle inserts were phased out starting in 1985-6. S&W didn't like to throw things away and used up existing inventory whenever possible. These are from my grip stash.
