Good Morning!,

It's a great Sabbath Morning to get out and Worship Him. And, it's a great day to pay homage to the Ladies in our lives.

Happy Valentine's Day to all the Ladies on the forum and the ones that are attached to some blessed old Coot on the forum. :-) Like me, I'm been living with my 1st (and only), wife for 56 years, 3 months and 14 days....
She has Biblical qualifications: The "Pearl of Great Price." I love her dearly.

It's been a cold week for lots of you. One of my fiddle playing friends in Texas said it has not been this cold in 111 years. In this case, I can honestly say: I don't remember.

Another guy in Kansas, said it was 15°. When I told him it was 75 degrees here, he was about to get snarky when I told him 75 was also tornado weather. Fortunately none in our area, and it's turned cold and damp.

The Vietnam thread: "Snubby in Vietnam", in the Concealed Carry and Self Defense Sub Forum, is still going strong with more heart rending stories from the front, and home front.

I caught a bug last Friday night from something I ate, and I am still suffering the after affects. Gonna miss church today, and I hate it.

Got the windshield replaced on the Putt Mobile, a warranty replacement heater is on the way, now the fridge is acting up, it won't shut off. But, it could be worse, so I am grateful that it isn't, the power is still on and the heat is working and the coffee was great today.....

Ya'll stay warm and/or cool wherever you are located.....

Have a blessed day,

Leon

P. S.

Here is my Valentine, from back in the day. She can still handle a pistol/revolver rather well.

Good morning to everyone and Happy Valentine's Day. I hope everyone is looking forward to a wonderful day. We've been having sleet/freezing rain but I'm hoping that it will warm up enough so that I can get up to the indoor range and throw a little lead downrange.

My uncle and I traded our morning texts so we have another day that we know my aunt, uncle and I are OK. I'm hoping that my aunt and uncle can do something to celebrate Valentine's Day. It takes a little effort for them to get out because my aunt had a stroke two years ago but she is getting a lot better. They just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary and I was at the wedding.

Everybody enjoy the day.

Happy Valentine's Day

...and a happy Sunday to all.

Well the ice storm here took down a whole row of trees separating us from our neighbors to the south. Thankfully though, our power is still on, while many thousands in the area are without.

We are blessed to have one of our sons and his family of 5 staying with us, waiting for their furniture to arrive from California. They picked a bad weekend to move in to their new home. Who knew?

Life is certainly different with the constant pitter patter of little feet and waking each morning to baby crying. But ahhhh, the coffee pot still has power, so all is good.

I feel blessed beyond belief to have the wonderful lady that is my valentine. It is a good thing to be wed to your best friend. She loves to shoot too, which is just extra frosting on a delicious cake!

Stay safe everyone!

Raining cats and dogs here at 43°!

Quigley's in rain mode.

I did get one day at the range this week with our new CZ 452 that I found (NIB) on consignment at my bud's gun store. She's a tack-driver!

I'm enjoying shooting the .22's. Feel like a kid again.

Y'all have a blessed week!

55 and 8 months here. Yep sure has been a weird week weather wise. Been in the 30's and 40's here with rain.

Kept my youngest Great Granddaughter over night Tuesday night and about3:30 in the A.M. she woke up throwing up and did that up until about 6 A.M. then she was rather listless all day Wed. Thursday Wife and I were scheduled for our second Covid shot. I felt fine up until around 10 or so then started getting sort-a shaky. I started throwing up about 12:30 A.M. Friday so not sure whether reaction from shot or I had some Great Granddaughters left overs. Anyway stayed out of Church in order to not chance passing anything.

Had Ice yesterday A.M. and power off for about 7 and a 1/2 hours. No other major damage in my immediate area that I am aware of.

Hope everyone else here are O.K. Have a blessed week and will be praying for all.
