SAD NEWS FROM OLD BEAR, AND PRAYERS URGENTLY NEEDED

I just had a phone call from Fred, Old Bear. His beloved wife Genie passed away in her sleep, after being terribly ill with widespread cancer for some time.

He said to tell you she went peacefully, and that under the circumstances it was a blessing. They had been told she only had weeks to live and were going to give her radiation treatments solely for control of pain.

He asks for your prayers for him and the family.

This has been a terrible year for a lot of good folks in here. I'm so sad for Fred and their family and friends. I can't say how much I hate cancer. I'm sending up prayers for their acceptance and peace of mind.
