Dropshot. Absolutely. I ordered the part from Midway. Cost about $35. There are several folks on this forum who can talk you thru it, if you wanted to do the job yourself. If you feel unsure, have a qualified smith do it for you. Just know it is a very doable thing.

You can also just push the detent on the right side in & slide that lever off.. Then remove the detent & spring..See how you like it & then order a lady smith 3913 lever from Numbrich or another supplier

If you have the parts on hand, and know how to not launch springs and detents across the room, it's an easy two-three minute job.
