Sample size

Well I sit here with my box from Cologuard. The video instructions say I'm to "deposit" my "normal size" "sample" in in the provided little bucket with what I assume is a very secure lid. The "sample" must be able to be covered by the liquid contents of a small plastic jar. Something has to give, besides me. My "normal sample" isn't going to get covered by what's in that little jar. I suspect there's going to be some inconvient "loaf" pinching involved.

Oh well! Sure beats the uh, um, well...Anyhow it sure beats having to.... Well it's better than the alternative.

My experience with Cologuard is that it’s a low confidence indicator that usually comes back “abnormal” and you end up getting a colonoscopy anyway. At 78, I’m not inclined to do either anymore. I know it’s a rather cavalier approach, but I’m tired of doctors and the medical “magnet “.

The wife's first was last Spring, had a Cologuard and it was +, Had the tried and true hose method and found several polyps. Had to get a 3rd to be sure the 2nd was successful.

She had complained about how inconvenient the Cologard was! After 2 real ones, she hopes all she will ever need is to make a "box of fun" in the future.

In attempting to bring attention to detail to my Easter pranks, I've found that a 50/50 mix of Milk Duds and chocolate covered peanuts makes a fine substitute for "bunny droppings".

With quantitative research, the larger your sample size, the more meaningful are your results. So go ahead and provide them with the largest possible sample. After all, you want your results to be statistically significant!

I've had several of those Cologuard boxes delivered to my house.

I've tossed everyone of them in the trash.

I had a colonoscopy at 55. At 60 and 65 my PCP ordered Cologuard boxes for me. Both times I wrote on the boxes with a Sharpie "All my best".
