Took the wife to the range since when I take her with me, she doesn't complain when I buy stuff. She gets to practice with her P238 and I get to try out my new CS9. Dang that thing shoots sweet and even let the wife fire a couple of mags through it. The Guy I got it from said it probably hadn't had a box of shells through it and from how stiff the second magazine was to load, I believe it. It was a bear getting that seventh shell in.
Now the bad part, as well as the CS9 shot, I pulled out my old 28-2 service weapon from 30 years ago and shot rings around my other guns. I had not shot it since I left LE in 81 and it still felt so natural in my hand. I had some work done on it in the 70's including target trigger, hammer and grips so its closer to a model 27 than 28.

The CS9 is still kinda big for pocket carry and that's why I have my own P238. Its ideal for carrying in cargo shorts, which I wear all the time. If I tote the CS9, it will be in a IWB under a sport coat when I have to dress up some. Dress pants just don't have enough pockets for all my stuff.

I bought my DAO CS9 stainless new at a gun store in 2003. I really like the gun. I liked it so much that I bought a CS45, I like it, but the CS9 is definitely the best, for a ccw.

Once, or if I ever get one, I'll have Ken Null make a City Slicker for her.
