I bought at least 1K WLP primers that day. I am loading this morning and went to my primer stash and those were the oldest I could find.

Every Saturday I would take $20 or 25 to the LGS and buy components as I knew I would be retiring sometime in the future and needed to stockpile.

I am loading 7.0 of Unique and a 250 cast swc in 45 Colt today.

Trust me when you are retired in the northeast you do want to stock pile for the winter months. With no outdoor winter sports or such I rely on reloading in the evening to keep the winter doledrums at bay. I found that brass is the most important, if you dont have empty brass you dont load. I went through eight K of small pistol primers and six K of large pistol primers this last winter alone. I gotta remember to save enough empty brass for the comeing winter as I did run short last. I quit useing my Dillon press as it works too fast!
