Picked this up and about the only thing I've found out about it so far is it is from 1980 or so. I've seen the video of it firing in its Odd Ball way, trigger holds bolt back until released. Also came across a link about a possible recall due to firing in safe mode position. Sent an e-mail off to Savage Arms regarding this, but don't know if I'll get a response as I also heard they had a fire around 1995 and no longer support anything older than that. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Similar .22 to Savage/Stevens/Springfield model 87/187

Don't think they fire from an open bolt...although the older Springfield version I own can be used as a manual operated repeater or an auto-loader
