bought one of the first heavy stainless versions and mounted a BSA 17 super mag scope on it
zero at 100 yds sub 1/2 moa, set out 3 water filled 1/2 gallon milk jugs out at various ranges out to 175-350 yds.
shooting from a bench off a lead sled using the 20 grain 3000 fps Winchester ammo
not a problem with this rifle,
out to 200 yds. the impact will totally demolish said target impressive hydraulic pressure fracture of target.
at the 350 yd mark it was not as impressive it had loss enough pressure that I thought I missed my first shot but my second flipped the jug over
the 350 yard target I hit the first time low but it penetrated near the bottom of the milk jug and exited with out me realizing I had hit it.
by the time I sent the second round at target it had drained out enough water to let the jug flip
bottom line this is a great shooting rifle and the bsa 17 super mag scope is truly impressive on this rim fire rifle,
