Savage Impulse

Just noticed Savage brought out an ambidextrous bolt-action (straight-pull) called the Impulse. Finally, an affordable rifle for us people who are cross-dominate or left-handed and still appease the right-handed shooting members of the family.
Looking at the bolt wondering if they licensed the design from Fortner.

I like that. Ill definitely consider getting one when they hit the shelves. I had a Savage 110 30-06 but didn't like having to hold it weird or reach across since I was left handed so I sold it and went with the Browning lever action 30-06 since it is much more ambidextrous.
