Saved another poor stray....

Poor thing was mistreated, rust under the grips. Had a time cleaning it up. Grips had the S/N number stamped into the right one.
M14-2 S/N K751455, 1967.
Hope it's better then the marriage that I had that year...

What's not to like? Original grips, trigger stop and a lazy &. Nice shooter for sure. Reminds me I've got a 14-3 long tube shooter that I've had for months and never taken it out - don't be like me.

I wish I had this one when I shot NRA Bullseye back then.
Maybe I could have made Master, not just expert with the M19 6" I had.
But, I was new to the Bullseye shooting 45 years ago...

Yea, .38 SPL & no lead build-up as shooting in a magnum.
Will see how it does with the old 2.8 gr of BE & 148 gr HBWC soon.
