I always liked his acting, he was in "The Green Mile", "Armageddon" and the remake of "Planet of the Apes." He always seemed like a real down to earth guy when I saw him on Leno,

RIP and go with God, we'll miss ya...

The Wife just read that to me she saw it on FB. It stinks such a great actor.:(

This is shocking and sad! I really enjoyed his acting. I had heard an interview with him several years ago on the Mark and Brian show, just after he was nominated for the Oscar for the Green Mile. He seemed like a down to earth guy. I enjoyed his appearances on Two and a Half Men as well.

Rest in peace.......

Just saw him on Two and a half men last night......RIP

Yes this is a darn shame.
In an interview just this year he was telling
about how he had just threw out 5000.00
worth of meat from his fridge/freezer and
he went vegetarian. Said he felt much better
and healthier now.
54 years old. I'll keep eating meat BTW

He always seemed to me to be the definition of a "gentle giant" and never appeared to take himself too seriously.
My sympathy to his family.

He had a heart attack a couple months back, and wasn't doing well. A very nice man from what I know of him, and far removed from the usual Hollywood arrogance and entitlement attitudes of his contemporaries. As an actor and character in film, he always reminded me a bit of Woody Strode.

I liked him on The Finder. Now I don't feel so bad it was cancelled.

I was going to say that too, the Finder really put a different spin on him. The Green Mile is a classic, he'll be missed. RIP Sir.

My favorite rememberence will be his character Franklin " Frankie Figgs " Fiqueroa in " The Whole Nine Yards ".

R.I.P big man, R.I.P.
