I just acquired a 4506 and it's in the California mandatory 10 day waiting period so I can't post pics, but was wondering if anyone here could possibly give me more info. It's marked Sayre PD 031. My research shows it could be from a PD in Pennsylvania or Oklahoma or ? Does anyone happen to know if either of those departments were issued model 4506s?

Also, the SN is TCD3xxx and I'd like to know the approximate date of manufacture.

Thanks in advance!

No idea but I know Sayre PA. A friend of mine lives there. It's a small little redneck town. Very few paved roads. I don't think they'd pay to mark their guns or have 31 officers. They may have 4 cops

Just to give you an idea here we are driving around Sayre about 3 years ago

Who knows. They are both small towns unlikely to have a department of 31 officers! Maybe it is a cumulative number, not reflecting current department size.

Guessing that Sayre, OK is more likely. Chief is Ronnie Harrold, Dept is only 6 including Chief & Assistant. This is probably his home phone, call him and ask. 580-928-9710 Nothing secret, all from public record. Phone may be out of date. Department number is 580-928-2122 if you wold rather wait until tomorrow.

Sayre Borough P.D. in PA. phone is (570) 888-2233

And that was downtown! :D

4506

That gun came from Sayreville NJ Pd. That's how they were marked. They traded them for 4586's. They got them in the 90's. They M&P 45 now.
