Scam Alert

Just a little warning to my friends on S-WForum about a scam working in Las Vegas. This morning a M 66, 3" was listed on armslist for a pristine M 66 3" illustrated by three pictures. I am in the market, so looked the pics over very carefully. I then went to GB to check current pricing. I found the exact same pics for THAT gun listed for auction by a reputable dealer in MI. I know him slightly, so I called to make sure that he actually had THAT handgun in his possession. He does and he took the pics. So, the listing in LV is a total scam. The MI dealer said that he has had a couple of other instances of his pics being used in potential scams on other listing sites always for quality collectibles. ............ Big Cholla

Expect that regularly on Armslist.
In my February run of GB auctions, THREE of my guns (MY pics) wound up listed on Armslist before the auctions ended.

REPORTING (or Flagging) the listings is the best way to go.
If we report every gun scam on the net in this Lounge, that is all that will be on the front page.

The same thing happened to me on Armslist on a BT-100 that I am looking for not too long ago.I just stopped searching on Armslist since.
