I just payed for a 360 in Scandium from Bud's Gun Shop. $419 ain't bad at all!!! It's my first Smith wheelgun. I own about 17 pistols, but...well...you know.

Anyway -- I don't want the blade up front. What options do I have? I looked around, but can't find anything and Brownells has been useless.

Any help is welcome for this wheelgun newbie. Oh, and BTW, this is for my wife for CWP. I'm lusting after the 340PD.

Yeah, I figured that was a pretty good deal by looking around on Gunbroker and Guns America...

Is is possible for you to post a picture of your 340 with the sight on it? Maybe focusing in on the sight itself?

I just checked Hi-Viz's website, and I can't find a sight that looks like it would fit.

EDIT: I think I want sights from here: http://www.xssights.com/ The M&P 340 comes with the XS front sight and it looks like there could be less possible snag than the Hi-Viz.

I just picked up the same 360 and would be interested in what you have done with the front sight. Thanks.

bbrown -- I have done nothing yet.

But, as the above poster stated, that's THE SIGHT to use. That's what comes on the M&P from the factory.

The price isn't listed on Hi-Viz's website, so I'm gonna call next week probably.

Thanks, look forward to hearing what they say. I got mine from Bud's as well, cant beat the price!

If memory doesn't fail me as it so often does, cost was around $35.00. Most people say use a #57 drill bit to drill sight. I used a 1/16 punch and drill bit. Install and drill from both sides.
