Asked on the 1945- present Forum, but no answers. LNIB S&W Schofield of 2000 manufacture. Never fired, mint condition. They're asking $1800. High, low, about right? Thanks,Mike

The ones I have seen in this condition are listed from $1,900 to $2,000.

At an auction here in PA today, a NIB cased Schofield sold for $1100 plus a 10% buyers premium

There aren't any on GunBroker right now and they seldom come up for sale. I was about to spend $1700 on one when someone here put me onto a deal. I paid $1250 for one plus another $100 for the Performance Center wood presentation box. I feel like I got a steal! What I really like is that S&W factory test fired them, so shooting it won't affect its value. I just won't scratch it or wear the blueing. But I'll shoot it!
