As a result of watching a Clint Eastwood with my wife, I now find that I need one of the re-issue Schofields.
Does anyone have one for sale or know where one can be found.
Thanks

Get a Uberti. They are half the price of a Smith and you won't be afraid to use and abuse it. They offer .45 Colts, and .357s. if you want something more realistic you can shoot the .45 Schofield out of the Uberti .45 Colt. The cylinder is about a 1/10" longer than the original Smith. Other dimensions are good for practical purposes. I have a Smith and it is a pretty delicate weapon. Not something for fun and shooting. This is probably the reason it came w/ a presentation box.

I shot my first 4 seasons of CAS with a Uberti Schofield in .45LC. It held up well, and was very accurate. I sold it because I just could not get used to the grip angle. The SAAs fit my hands much better. The Schofield is a fun gun to shoot, and the Uberti clone that I had was well made.
