Where is the ideal placement to mount your scope or optics on the AR 15-22?

The scope is ideally placed where the eye relief is proper for your head placement on the stock.

Red dots can be placed about anywhere, but tend to work better further from your face, either at the end of the receiver or onto the handguard rails.
