scope or red dot??

I do a lot of shooting at an outdoor range with a friend of mine. He has a Ruger 10-22 and I have the M&P 15-22. We both have red dots. I have the Primary Arms which I highly recommend. He also has a Ruger 10-22 with a scope, but he always ends up using the one with the red dot. We have a ton of fun competing against each other shooting golf balls at 75 meters. I would recommend you get a red dot. I really like mine whether I am shooting 20 yrd targets, golf balls at 75 meters, or the steel plates at 200 meters.
Here is 25 rounds shot at a swinging target at 25 yrds with my red dot.

I am in Champaign county

Too cool... Im 10(ish) miles from 'Windsor Gun Club' but shoot @ home most the time. Although,,,,,,,. The corn in my field is gettin' too tall to shoot here at home. I hate having a huge bald spot in the field from lead cutting it down. Time for some summertime straw bales.

I'm a little South East of you in Edgar County. Nice to see more central IL people on here.

Hello DT. I own a little spot south of Gays.
