Scope/Sights for M&P 15-22

I need some help. I am going this weekend to go purchase new sights for my gun. I have put a few hundred rounds down range and I am not a big fan of the iron sights. However, I can't decide if I want a scope or a red dot and I don't know what brands or anything. I was wondering if anyone has good sights that they like and would recommend. I just use the gun for target mostly under 75 yards. Thanks for the help!

I just got a walther ps22 red dot. Havnt shot it yet but heard good things about it. Around 60 bucks if that's around your budget.

If you scroll down to page two or so, there's two pages worth of discussion on red dots vs. scoped rifles. Nice, inexpensive red dots come from places like Primary Arms and Bushnell (TRS-25), or even UTG. Scopes? Pick a price range.

pick up a primary arms md-06l red dot or a vortex sparc. have both & they are awesome! @ 50-100 yards these will suit your needs

I have old eyes, so a scope for me was a revelation. I was gifted an inexpensive 3-9x40 scope, and I love it!

I also am planning to pick up an inexpensive red dot sight for quick aquisition shooting games.

The good thing is, whatever you stick on the gun does not have to be the only, and permanent, solution - you can go back and forth, and continue to experiment with whatever floats your boat. There is not "one right answer".
