Nobody choked, nobody showed up as their "old" self, and aside from lots of penalties (many frustration-inspired because the defenses were so overpowering), it was actually a fine Super Bowl if you appreciate football that doesn't generate a lot of scoring because the defenses were so good.

I hate that the Panthers lost, but on this night, the better team won. That defense was suffocating, and I don't think Cam Newton smiled all night long, which was unusual for him. Kudos to the Broncos for a game well-played and to Peyton for ending a great career on a very high note. He's a class act.

Manning choked?
Oh how so many forget this is a team sport. Peyton did what he needed to do to win the game. He let the team carry him instead of the other way round this time. Congrats Broncos, well deserved win.
