I agree. It gets boring hearing about people scoring small amounts of ammo all the time for that cost. I'm still shooting rounds I bought at $.01-$.03 a round.

Yep- I have plenty to last me as well since hunting season is over. I will worry about 22 ammo in late summer/early fall this year.

I don't know his source, but I think there is the possibility of it landing on gunbroker. Since he didn't tell us what type of bullet or where he got it, I don't know that he actually "scored". Maybe he is shy, i don't know.
C'mon, if you are out there- inquiring minds want to know? What type and where at? Help a fellow shooter out and I don't mean me.

Likewise, I buy ammo to shoot, not resell. Same for magazines; I buy them to put ammo in, not make a profit on.

You know, I've wondered the exact same thing. Is it just to brag without offering any assistance? If so, that is sad. I am amazed at all the help that is being offered on this forum for folks needing ammo. Others are offering their own ammo, links, item numbers, techniques, etc. This poster... nothing. All kinds of folks in this world.

Exactly! For instance, I answered an ad in the classifieds section from someone needing one or two magazines. A trade for ammo deal. I get 2,325 rounds of .22lr and he gets 3 mags.
THIS guy's post does nothing.
