I finally scored a 1076 10mm off of Armslist. It is a THB9XXX SN. It has the black trigger and "capable of firing without the magazine" statement on the left side. It came with the original box, manual, and 4 magazines.
I'll be calling S&W tomorrow to request the letter to see if it is an FBI issued one. I suspect it may be (based on the person who sold it).
I'll post pictures next week when it comes in.
As far as price, it was on par I suppose with others. $800 shipped and transferred. Not cheap but not as bad as some. From the pic and description it looks like the finish is in very good condition.
I'll probably load it with either Atomic 180 gr GDHP (650 ft lbs) or Underwood 165 gr GDHP (824 ft lbs). I have a EAA Witness 10mm but it is heavy. I have already ordered new springs for this one.
