To be honest guys, i walked out paying a little under $1100. I had my LGS look into finding me one, which i figured would take awhile. But to my surprise it showed up about 3 days later. Me and my LGS do business on a daily basis, so i get a small discount on things from time to time. This just so happened to go by at the right time.

Great price! Sounds like you've got a decent/honest LGS store as well. Congrats again man.

Yes - you did ok. We have a gun show next weekend and I thought about going. I don't think I will find any "good" deals but hey you never know.

Good luck at the gun show man, thats all i can say lol. There were 2 around here the last 2 weekends and the pricet were scarey. The cheapest i found a cheapish AR was 1800 and that was a DMPS. You know the ones u could buy for 700ish brand new in the stores, lol. Also i seen Pmags cheapest was 60 and most expensive was 75. People were buying 10 of them at a time.

And lets not forget to mention ammo. 22LR bulk 500rds for $52 along with .223 bulk 500rds for $600ish. I tell ya its a mad house and prices are stupid high. But people are still buying everything they can put their hands on.

Snce tomorrow is Valentines, me and the ole lady have a little outing planned to go to the range to shoot some. Many of you know from my original post, as to what I got her for Valentines. So today I decided to give it to her a day early, since i knew we were going to the range tomorrow. Little did i know, she had gotten me a little present also. This is what she gave me, as i gave her the m&p 15. Its kinda odd because neither of us expected what we got. We were both excited as all get out and neither of us can wait til tomorrow. I know its not a s&w, but please go easy on my ole lady and her choices. I know she's not perfect, but i dont think i can complain.

I am in the right place me and my wife been married 44yrs last weekend and buying guns for presents been our thing her predator 9mm with 3 30 rnd mags for xmas and the green laser for BD my 629 3" for x mas we just bought grandson an ar 15 for his BD set us back $1250 cash with 3 mags nice to be with people who understand prices are out of sight but i been thru this before and this pass
