scored some ammo today

went to my local wally world today and they had 223 tul ammo
in the case. price was 5.27 per box. so got my alotted 3 boxes
took it to the truck,went back got 3 more. yeah its cheap ammo, but at a price i havent seen in a while,i figured what the hell.maybe its the start of a trend,LOL!!

This week American Eagle, Winchester and Remington .223 showed up so its getting better around here also.

My Wal-mart has had a steady supply of Winchester 5.56 lately, and a little Tulammo as well.

I have been watching GunBot lately an I did score some .223 & 5.56 even though it was 0.70 a rd. I missed out on the Wolf ammo that was listed for 0.35 & 0.43 a rd.:>( .... But I'll keep checking and I'm sure the better stuff will show up at a cheaper price.

Cabelas has been getting quit a bit in stock at my Local Store....

Its getting better... last trip they had at least 100bxs of herters in stock

I have plenty of 5.56 mm but i did score (finally) some .22LR
today at Wallyworld. I have enough to last a while but always
check whenever i get to Wallyworld as this is where we grocery
shop and get odds and ends. Went back to the ammo glass case
expecting to be disappointed as usual and knelt down to look and
way in the back was stacked 6-50 rd. count boxes of Federals
listed at 2.17 per. I yelled at the wife and she and i both got our
3 box limit. So i scored 300 rds. of cheapo plinking/target ammo.
This is the (First) .22LR i have found at the two Wallyworlds near us
since January..........
Like i said, it's not real good hunting hollowpoints but it is good for
inexpensive plinking so i was happy to get it. Now i can shoot this
up and keep my better ammo. Good Luck hunting ammo to you all.

But was Funny last time at Cabela's.. i scored 22lr and my allotted 5bx of 9mm... Guy was almost running to his car, next to mine, dropped off his bag, and hot footed it back inside...... cabela's keeps a good eye on people so always wondered if he was successfull...LOL

Its getting better, heading to local Powder supplier today ta see if they have any specific Powder I am looking for...

Yep I always have the wife walk back to the sporting good section to score her 3 boxed too when we shop! But last time they had 9mm was like 3 1/2 months ago "9mm"! Have not seen .45acp's in stock or .22LR in 500 round bricks from January 2012.. I'm in northern New Hampshire.. Any walmarts near me have a good stock of ammo on a regular basis? Thanks! George

Cabela's has Herter's .223 for $6.99 a box, allotment is five boxes so you better hurry! Placed my order around 7:45AM EST and as of then it was still in stock.

Wow, if a stranger buying 6 boxes of ammo at a store that limits a person to three makes you sick.....

How do you handle homeless puppies?

Road tax on gasoline?

Just take a breath and count to ten..... We don't know the guy, maybe he donated those extra three boxes to someone who really needed them.

Good for you my Wally World only allows 1 box per day but they do have Federal 5.56 $8.17 per, can't beat that with a stick.

Now that would be a score. Like I've said before I have no problem with someone stocking up for themself keeps it out of the gougers hands. But would be nice to spread the wealth I know the gougers won't. Heck 6 boxes he got still won't last long 120 rounds is 2 rounds per minuet for a hour which you would pay if you had to use a range, glad I have other options.
