SD9 apex trigger question

Hey guys I recently purchased the SD9VE few days ago and like everyone trigger is bit heavy pull. But my question is if I would to get the apex trigger spring kit would I have to polish the parts, would it make a whole lot of difference if I don't. Polishing the parts would void the warrenty?

That's an easy answer---NO.

Polishing parts are for real nitpickers like me and is certainly NOT necessary to get a significant benefit out of installing the Apex spring kit.

I agree, but change the springs back to stock if you need to send it in. S&W doesn't like the spring kit either.

I have a 5 months old SD9VE with over 400 rounds. I have had No FTFs or FTEs and so dependable that I use it as my personal defense piece.
As for the the trigger pull, I'm fairly comfortable that way it is. If I want a lighter trigger pull, I'm the type who does't mess around with the original intent of the gun. I'll simply buy another gun with a lighter trigger. Hopefully, y'll having the same success and joy with the SD9VE as I am. For $300, it's the steal of the year.

Yes, very easy. There is a step by step video on YouTube that is extremely helpful.
