I'm thinking about an SD9 , Whats everyones take on them ?. I have the little "908" and love that one.

It sits in the line between the Sigma on the low end and the M&P on the high end. Essentially a Sigma with a slightly bigger grip, a night front sight and a trigger pull shorter and lighter than the Sigma, very similar to the M&P.

Who has looked at an SD-40...sigh so many nice guns, so little money now days.

I tried out the SD at a gun shop a few weeks ago, I found that the trigger pull is just as high as the Sigma. The grip is better but it still doesn't justify the $60-90 price increase over the Sigma.

Guess you better get out and handle both yourself.

I have the opposite opinion.

My SD40 trigger is better than any of the Sigmas I've owned.

Better looking pistol with a standard front night sight.

I think it's worth the money.

YMMV

Good Luck

I did. Both guns were brand new from the factory. Pulled the trigger on both, and felt the same thing. In fact, the trigger pull is less on my sigma after S&W worked on it than the SD. The grip felt thinner and better on the Sigma and the SD looked better but like I said, I still don't see the point in paying the higher price for the SD. But that is just me.
