Are you asking for the why of the light or the holster or both?

The laser on mine is for bump in the night type stuff when I am half asleep. When I am not sleeping I carry with just a TLR1 because target ID is one of the four rules of gun handling and you never know under what lighting conditions you will need it, If god forbid you ever did need it.
I keep a tactical light next to the bed and carry one with me when out and about (I'm cheap and can't see spending money on a laser). Lasers are great tools, but to know what your target is ya gotta see it. That's where lights come into play. of course, there's nothing wrong with having both![]()
I have a good question & y'all can call me sissy or anything you want, but are you able to get #16 in the mags ?![]()

Mine should be broken in by now & I almost rip my thumb off trying to get that last one in.
Sissy....and yes 16+1![]()

I can't help you with that question, because I've never used a laser (other than on my short-lived BG380.) I do find that putting some kind of lightweight object on the slide while dry firing does help indicate if you can hold your pistol still during the trigger pull, since the object falls off. I guess a laser would help with movement, if you were watching it to see if it moved.
Yes they are easy to dial in and yes it will help with dryfire practice.
To dial in clamp the pistol into something and adjust laser so that it matches the sights.
When practicing your trigger control through dry firing watch the laser dot, the less it moves during trigger pull the better you are doing.

Best money I ever spent on my weapon. Works for son's sr9 and my wife's b6p as well.
Good eye Smiffer, the box does not say & sign where it was hanging said SD 9 it's mod# 25095, they have not been easy to find. The range & gun shop I use just happened the have just this one at a time I was there. Of the 2 that came with it I can on a day I really want to try I can get 16 in but can't tell the one it is I have tried to use them the same.Hey micocyco,
I am able to get 16 in my mag once they get some use. I have a brand new 3rd mag that I have to settle for 15 right now.
One note: the mag you show in your picture doesn't look like an SD base plate. Is that possibly a SIGMA mag?
I read somewhere that moving even an eighth of an inch can really affect your precision, but don't know if that is true.
Please post details on how you did that.
