sdve9 trigger reset?

Took my new out of the box Sdve9 to the range today loved it shot really good groups.Used Blazer brass 115 gr.,Critical Duty 135 gr.and HST ammo mixed throughout the mags.The only issue i had out of 330 rounds was the trigger failed to reset three seperate times.The firearm was in full battery ,it was like zero trigger.Curious if im short stroking it and not letting the trigger all the way out when the slide is returning.I also shoot a M&P C.O.R.E. With the enhanced short reset trigger.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The trigger must be fully released to work

Just think of the trigger as you would a double action revolver. Fully release it before firing again.
