I'm looking to replace my T-Mobile Android phone (Samsung Galaxy 4g) with something with more memory and better battery life.

One criterion which is EXTREMELY important is the ability to prevent the phone from being turned off without entering the PIN.

I use my phone as a voice recorder when carrying concealed, and I need a phone on which somebody can't just hold down the power button and turn it off when I'm recording.

Does anybody know of an Android phone with this feature?

I'd suggest a body camera . . .

I have an app on my phone that records in the background. You can do other things.

The problem is that the phone can be turned off by just holding the power button in. That's not acceptable.

Looked into it. There isn't such a phone on the market now. There are apps that can do it for Android, but I won't trust the security of an app.
