Who in SC and in neighboring states would like to have a get together sometime?
I see other groups on the forum having get togethers regularly. I propose that we meet at Leeds Shooting Range in Carlisle SC or the Manchester State Forest shooting range in Pinewood, SC unless somebody has a better suggestion. We can use Palmetto State Armory in Columbia for an alternate in case of incliment weather. Again, if someone has a better suggestion, by all means let me know. I was looking for an outdoor range near Columbia as a central spot, but the only range (Wateree) I could find is shotgun only.
I also suggest that we meet for lunch at a nearby restaurant and socialize beforehand. Once we settle on a shooting range location, I'll compile a list of nearby restaurants. I've looked at Pinewood and Carlisle and Carlisle has much more to offer in the line of restaurants.
Can we do this before the end of October or first of November? If we are outdoors, daylight will go faster as the year progress
What I propose:
Meet at a Restaurant at 11:30 for about an hour to an hour and a half lunch and social. We can do name tags and get to know each other.
Meet around 12:30 or 1:00 at the shooting range. It will probably be closer to 1:00 because these ranges are in the sticks. We can shoot a couple of hours and depart.

What day of the weeks would be good for you? (I'm good most anytime, retired) The only requirements are that the range and restaurant be open and at a time where a group can gather without problems.
