Self defence Hard cast or JHP

If memory serves, I remember a bullet mold that allowed you to cast a 2-piece swc bullet, so you could cast the nose out of a softer lead and the base out of a harder lead.

If I could find the Speer Gold Dot JHPs made for short barreled revolvers, I'd be carrying them for my defensive load. Since I can't find them, I've been carrying Buffalo Bore flat nosed wadcutters specifically made for short barreled revolvers. I figure that's the next best thing.
