Hey everyone, my parents are moving and have an old Crosley stand up radio that they want to sell. What Ive been able to get is its from 1942 Model 22CA, what I cant find is a price. If anyone has an idea let me know, that would be great.

It all depends on the condition and if the radio plays. One that plays will bring several times more than one that needs tubes or other parts as components for these things are scarce and expensive.

Boy that brings back memories. Sitting in front of one like that listenening to the radio stories as a kid before T V. Sorry for the rambling of an old man. I can't help with the value but we treasured our's in those days. Good luck

Believe it or not, I have a shooting acquantance i shoot with each wednesday, who collects among other things, old electronics. He's the only guy I know who can repair an eight track tape player.....

I'll talk to him Wednesday and see what he say's about your Crosley Radio, he may even want it....

Wish I had kept my Dads old radio stuff. He had a lot of it. I remember going to the store that had the tube tester, plugging them in and the you would get the new ones from the cabinet below it.

$300 - $400 in good shape and functioning. The ones made in the 20's and 30's are more desirable. If nonfunctioning, the cost for electrical repair/restoration is about $200 if you can find a hobbyist to do the work.
