I am sending my 15-22 back to get the extractor issue taken care of. I called this morning and they didn't seem to help much. He basically told me just to throw it back in the box and ship it to them with a note explaining the issues. Do they not even pay for the shipping on a defective product? I was thinking that I saw on here a couple weeks ago that they were sent a prepaid box from them. Anyone sent one in lately?
Thanks.

I actually just ran into the same problem with the extractor also. I called Smith and Wesson customer service, about 24 hrs. later I recieved an E-mail with a Pre-Paid shipping label and instructions on what to do. Called Fed-Ex and I am waiting on them to come pick it up at my house right now.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't E-mail you a Pre-Paid label like they did for me?

I would call back and ask about it..

Apparently I just talked to the wrong person. What department did you dial when you got their automated call system?

I called 1-800-331-0852, and Then I talked with the operator and told her I needed to talk to someone about shipping in my firearm for warranty work and she connected me to some other guy that told me he would E-mail me instructions and a Pre-Paid shipping label.

Heck, it wouldn't hurt to ask about threading the barrel while you have it in there. Don't know if they do that there at their factory, worth a shot.

mine is there now because it came without a feed ramp. i asked about just giving me the new threaded barrel and i was told they weren't able to (...said those were for production only, they wouldn't do any modifications....).

most places will thread a barrel for around $50 if you really want it
