Woooowee was it a scorcher today!! The record breaking temps didn't keep the classic car folks away today though. The ol sleepy town of Senoia (where they've filmed The Walking Dead for years) was packed full of some of the prettiest cars you've ever seen. There were no shortages of 55-57 Belairs, old Camaros, Mustangs, several old Ford coupes and more car candy to drool on. I was parked next to a couple of other C3 Vettes like we'd planned it or something, just good timing. :D I think I sweated out 10 lbs but had a great day. I thought I'd share a few pics.

Mine is the white one.

Some great looking cars! I'm familiar with Senoia, been through there several times having lived in Newnan and Grantville. I went to the Corvette show on Pensacola Beach today, mid 90's there also, sweated buckets.

Great pics!! Usually attend the Hemmings Muscle Show and drag racing in Lebanon Valley N.Y. in late May. Acres of restored muscle cars to view. Sure makes me sad when I think of that 70 Challenger I sold for peanuts in 77.

Nice, is yours an L82, hard to see from the pics. The one next to yours, LT1 ?

Thanks Ladder. Mine's an L48. The slug of the two. That's fine with me though because it keeps me in line. The 71 next to mine was a special build with nitrous. There were several more Vettes out, all beautiful specimens. I spoke with one gentleman that was original owner of his 67. The 63 Falcon parked next to me in the pic was owned by a sweet lady that bought it new when she got her first job at Delta at 20 years old and did a full restoration a few years ago. I love hearing the stories behind some of the cars.

Corvette talk reminds me of a friend's 69 model. Think he had an L-88 version engine. Engine was a 350 with 350 H.P. Recall figures were marked on console alongside the 4speed. Beautiful white with red pin stripe.

Thanks for sharing, Got more pics?

The Willy's is my favorite. That Firebird is super nice too.

I didn't take near as many pics as I had in previous years but do have a couple more. I talked to the owner of the Firebird and said he'd take $23000 for it. I was wanting it bad too, I've always liked the older Firebirds more so than the Camaros.

The ‘69 L88 was a 427 CI engine factory rated at 435 HP but everyone knew it was more in the 550 range.
L88 equipped vettes go for crazy money, they didn’t make very many. 216 over 3 years?

Bought my first car in 1976, it was a 68 Firebird 350 4 speed. Had the factory rear spoiler, and hood mounted tach. Kept it a couple years and traded it even for a 69 SS 396 Chevelle.

When my folks bought their first brand new car my dad ordered a red convertible 1966 Bonneville. He wanted a 421 with 3 deuces, and a 4 speed.

Like that Pontiac. Was that a 2+2? Recall seeing a couple back in my youth. Those 68 Firebirds were sure sharp. Thanks for the added pics.
