Your Combat Magnum dates to 1982. The Airweight Chief's Special to 1974, assuming there is a J in front of that number.

Well 19-5 AAW4074 is an early 1983. Is it a 6"?

SCSW says early j-frame numbers were up to 125000 in 1957, and 295000 in 1962. Therefore the model 37 in question should be somewhere in between- 1960-ish maybe? Does it have a flat latch & (assuming they're s/n'd to the gun) diamond grips?
