Last time I wrote, I was researching a model 14-7. I acquired it, and today I shot it for the first time. Yup, it's a keeper.

Can anyone refer me to a reference source where I may trace my serial number and correlate it to a year of production?

Thanks!

If you post the serial number I or someone here can look it up for you. However, 14-7's were only made from 1997 to 1999.

Information on two matching serial number Performance center guns!

Thanks in advance for any help I can get in reference to two Performance center guns I have! They are a 629-5 and a 657-4 revolvers and are unfluted! They have matching serial numbers MCC XXXX and MCS XXXX and were shipped in the Performance Center case! Any info on these guns would be appreciated!

Serial Number

I have a Model 63 with a serial number M106xxx. Can someone give me the approximate date of manufacture of this gun?

Welcome to the Forum,
According to the Standard Catalog the serial# dates to about 1978.

Recently purchased a Model 67 and would like to know the year it was shipped from SW. 5k787XX. I appreciate the offer of help, guys.

I'm new to the forum but I'm a lover of S&W Revolvers!
Here's a link to some excellent info that I came across recently. They copied from another forum I believe, but it's all good.
Just thought I'd share.
