She didn't make it

I posted awhile ago about my Doxie, Angel. Just before we were going to leave for the vet, she died. My heart is broken. I'm going to miss her so much. We'll be together again Angel. Wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge.

I know how this hurts.
The only times in my adult life that I have broken down a cried was at the loss of a critter I had come to love. There's been lots of them.

From your picture, it is clear that Angel as had a very happy and healthy life since being rescued. You two were obviously well suited for each other.
The hurt will go away, but the memories of a wonderful time shared together won't.
