SHE IS LOST!

Years ago, my Mom used to complain about how the world had fallen apart. Then, while remodeling a 100 year old house, I found a newspaper dating to the 1930s. Outside of a few prices-gas and shoes- the newspaper was the same as our daily. Wars around the world, a nut with a funny mustache causing problems in Europe, poverty and illness (think polio and a dozen others we don't really worry about now), street gangs taking over cities using automatic weapons while selling illegal alcohol, kids misbehaving, and surprise surprise-crooked politicians.
According to an NPR/PBS Newshour/Marist poll, which was conducted among 1,125 U.S. citizens by phone Aug. 14-15, the overwhelming majority — 62 percent — want the monuments to remain while a much smaller share of Americans — 27 percent — want them removed.
About the same percent that still support Trump
