I have a Shield 2.0 in 45. It is very accurate and reliable except for Sig hollow points. I have had several FTF with this ammo. The spent shell ejects but the following round gets stuck on the feed ramp. I have had no issues with any other ammo. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

some guns can be ammo sensitive. if it likes other ammo just don't use sig HPs... simple

true, it takes some time to find the rounds yours will like. my Shield 45 2.0 feeds Winchester white box JHP with no issues (for example)

What "other ammo"? Do you mean other hollow points?

As stated above, it may take a while to figure out what defensive ammo your Shield will like. This is due the different shapes of the projectiles. Whereas most FMJ have similar profiles, hollow points can vary substantially.

I had a similar problem with Speer Gold Dots, and only Gold Dots.
Since you said you have a Shield 2.0, you'd think it already has the updated followers but maybe the mags packed with your Shield were new old stock.
(BTW, all .45 Shields are 2.0, so you don't need to say 2.0 every time)
Here is a pic of the two followers, updated one has the notch in front (arrow):

That's right, I forget about the updated followers. I think they released some for other models too if I'm remembering right.

They'll send them out for free. At least they have to some people I've seen online.

Thanks to Sandog the problem has been resolved. I have 5 magazines 1 of which has the round follower. I took it out yesterday and that was the magazine that did not feed properly. The other 4 were problem free.
Thanks again Sandog

Well, Com 45acp mentioned the followers first, I just provided the pic.
Glad you got it resolved.
As Tiribulus said, call S&W CS and they'll send the updated followers for free.
They even sent me the parts needed when I wanted to convert my 6 round over to a 7 round mag. Now all 4 mags are the same, and have the same feel when in the pistol.

My .45 Shield has been my main carry the last few years (along with two spare 7 round mags).
Lately I've been taking the Model 69 or 66-8 on outdoor outings, of course outside the belt open carry.
The Shield is certainly easier to conceal with a shirt tail.

I called S&W they said they would send the new followers WHEN THEY WERE AVAILABLE. No estimate of when. I am glad I have 4 good magazines but am kind of puzzled as to why 1 would have the old follower.
