Shield 40 Mishap

I ran another 85 rounds of Tula Brass Max 115gr FMJ through my shield today. Flawless I love it. Very accurate to. I was shooting a 12oz coke can at 10 15 and 20yds with it. Awesome gun.

You deserve it my friend, after all you went through!

Warranty?

Interesting that you would use this story to resurrect a 2+ year old thread.

I have been following this thread since it first started and that's about when the problem began with my .45acp Millennium from Taurus. I just wanted to order a couple new mags for it. They wouldn't sell them to me and I wanted to get the word out about their non-existent customer support in mine and hundreds of others cases. They are using the lawsuit at the following site-https://www.tauruscartersettlement.com/ to deny service or parts to anyone with any of several models of firearms until the lawsuit is resolved. I can't even get magazines or ANY parts for any of the guns involved in the suit. Taurus warrants their firearms for the life of the weapon. What that warranty really means is it will take you, the owner, a lifetime to get service from them! Buyer Beware. This is why I now own a Smith Shield in .40 persuasion and have had zero problems after hundreds of reloaded rounds from it's barrel have gone downrange.

I hope they replace my gun. Will really be a bummer if they don't. I'm just glad I still have all my fingers and whatever hit me in the face didn't hit me in the eye.
Not to try and lecture you but that's why we [should] wear eye protection.
