Shield 9mm jam, ammo??

Hopefully it runs like a Swiss watch from now on and you can concentrate on the real problem.... Finding ammo! :(

You might get lucky on these sites, I prefer gunbot. You can setup your "threshold" (how many cents per round) and it will show up red, also if you are logged in, it will beep every time a "deal" comes in.. ammoseek is decent also..

Right, I think it's unacceptable. point, blank, period. It does say to clean it, I however purposely didn't for the fact that any other gun you buy for $400+ should be able to put up with some abuse right out of the box..
Mine however, DID NOT.

And had there been enough RIG (Rust Inhibiting Grease) in the barrel to cause a blockage and the gun blew up in your hand, would you have sued S&W?

Who is a curious fellow.

Since then I've cleaned it an taken it back and shot around 250 through it. Had 2 more fail to ejects. It were the herters ammo again.

Those steel cases are the worse. STAY AWAY from anything made in RUSSIA... especially Tulammo...

They weren't steel, they were brass.. I just bought some tula for real cheap :) only 100rnds though, wanted to see if they were any good. Guessing they weren't since it's russian..

Well obviously I checked and inspected the gun to make sure it was safe before I shot it. But hypothetically saying I didn't, no I would not have. Because I read the directions and purposely didn't clean the gun. Even though I could have because it states that it is "recommended" not a must. I wanted to see if the quality was still there, even though they are pumping these guns out at a massive rate.. Anyhow some people get unlucky and get the fluke guns, this might be one of them. Who knows..??

Your ammo sounds like the issue, But you do need to clean it thoroughly.. I cleaned the piss outta mine when I got it.. Shot about 70 rnds of remans thru it and couldnt be happier.. Also cleaned it after.. Cleaning doesnt take long, so I do it after every outting.. Atleast if I do have some type of problem I can normally rule out any issues of the gun being dirty and causing it.

After I put 300 rnds through it I cleaned the piss out of it, actually took about an hour to get it thoroughly cleaned. I also clean it every time I shoot it, as you're suppose to anyways Lol.

Idk how you racked the slide.. I got mine an hour off the fed ex truck and nearly dropped it through the glass display it was so slippery...
