Shield Availability

called two local gun stores about 3 weeks ago. On two lists. The queue for a 9mm is 30+long in both locations. I'm 8th in line for a .40 in one place, and 4th in another. yay......

Just checked back, it's 22 deep on the .40 and 60+on the 9mm. awesome! One GS is very popular around here, and hasn't received a shield in 6 weeks. way to go S&W!

Had been on the list (about 50 long) for a 9mm at 2 Metroit Detroit GS. Finally ended up getting a Walther PPS. Cost a few bucks more but it's unique and shoots like a dream.

I sold my Kel Tect PMR 22 mag pistol today...and an hour later I get a call from one of the GS I shop at telling me my shield arrived. I just started calling around last week to get a shield and put myself on the list. I was surprised how quickly the shop called me. This shop had both 9 and 40 shields. I paid $409...I thought that wasn't a bad price considering I've never seen a shield until today.

The shield is the same length as the Kel Tec PF9. Shield is taller than PF9 and the trigger on the shield is so much better.

I'm looking forward to shooting the shield since I keep on hearing such good things about this pistol. I just need to grab a pocket holster and some spare mags and I will be GTG. Does DeSantis make a Nemisis holster that fits the shield?
